Attorney Ian Goodman Appointed as Secretary of IndyBar Board of Directors

Ian Goodman has been selected by the Indianapolis Bar Association's Nominating Committee to serve a two-year term as Secretary on its Board of Directors, beginning in 2021.

Ian has been a member of IndyBar since 2012 when he was a first-year lawyer. Currently, he is a member of IndyBar’s Commission on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion as well as the Litigation Section Executive Committee. He volunteers with Ask a Lawyer twice a year, and frequently volunteers at their Help Desk.

Ian previously served for five years as a member of the IndyBar’s Young Lawyers Division Executive Committee; was a member of the Pro Bono Standing Committee for approximately three years, leading the Ask a Lawyer program; and was a member of the Insurance Coverage Section Executive Committee for nearly two years. Ian is a graduate of the IndyBar’s Bar Leader Series Class XIV.   

In addition to his involvement in IndyBar, Ian is also chair of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana Business Litigation Section and a member of the Sagamore Inn of Court.
