Frazzle, Dazzle, Rinse, Repeat
If it is not enough that we are dealing with a global pandemic, we also are suffering through a highly contested presidential election and gearing up for another Supreme Court battle as the Pacific Northwest is on fire and the Eastern seaboard is getting pummeled by hurricanes.
Meanwhile, many of us are educating our kids from home while working full-time. You may often have thought, what in the literal 2020 is happening?
Here are some key takeaways from a guide I devised to help attorneys get through this rough patch:
Frazzle. Don’t beat yourself up, give yourself some grace—we’re all in this together.
Dazzle. Adjust your expectations and set reasonable professional goals to maintain sanity.
Rinse, Repeat. Take time out of each day to do something that makes you happy and refreshed. Lean on your tribe, whether that’s family, friends, or the IndyBar.
