Business litigator that concentrates his practice on civil litigation and represents clients in civil rights litigation.
Works to save businesses and entire industry groups from costly changes to existing business processes.
When lobbying efforts fail, he helps business owners and trade associations challenge newly enacted Indiana laws and regulations that can disrupt business continuity, often prior to their effective date.
His unique and considerable hands-on litigation experience, and ability to quickly assess issues with a calm demeanor make him an effective advocate for clients.
Admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court, Indiana Court of Appeals, state trial courts, U.S. District Courts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
Life Before PLG:
Served as lead counsel in more than 80 cases, handling nearly 100 depositions during five years as Deputy Attorney General in the Office of the Indiana Attorney General’s litigation group; tried cases in both state and federal court, and handled and argued cases in the courts of appeal.
Argued in front of the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, representing the State of Indiana in litigation regarding e-liquid legislation.
Received 2016 Award of Excellence in Public Service.
Graduated from Indiana University (B.S. Kinesiology, 2007) and Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law with honors (J.D. 2015, cum laude).
Life Beyond PLG:
Westfield Youth Sports Assistant Coach for first and second grade basketball.
Enjoys watching Colts and Pacers games, playing in a soccer league, and is a big pro wrestling fan.
Lives in Westfield with wife and four children, two goldendoodles, and a fancy bearded dragon. Josh and his family serve as a foster home.
