Recognized in 2009 and 2010 as an “Indiana Rising Star” (the top 5% of Indiana lawyers under 40), and as an “Indiana SuperLawyer” (the top 5% of all Indiana lawyers) every year since 2010; included in every edition of “The Best Lawyers in America” since 2013. Life before PLG: Litigation partner with Taft, Stettinius & Hollister, one of the largest law firms in the United States, where he developed a national business litigation and trial practice. Served as the 2012 Chair of the Litigation Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association. Graduated from the University of Notre Dame (B.A. 1992) and Indiana University School of Law—Bloomington (J.D. Cum Laude 1995). Life beyond PLG: Instructor and program chair for the annual Indiana Trial Advocacy College, and frequent speaker on legal and business issues. Chairman Emeritus of the Children’s Organ Transplant Association, a national charity that raises over $5 million per year for children who need life-saving organ transplants. Lives in Indianapolis with his wife and their two teenage children.

 
 

Christopher Goff

Life at PLG:

  • Concentrates his practice on criminal defense, representing businesses in civil litigation and providing professional discipline and ethics defense.

  • Assists clients with a range of litigation needs including plea and settlement negotiations, trial representation, appeals and collateral challenges to final judgments.

  • Admitted to practice in Indiana state courts as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

Life Before PLG:

  • A 2021 graduate of Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he served as an Associate Editor for the Indiana Law Review, participated in the Appellate Clinic to represent a client before the Indiana Court of Appeals, received the Hon. Robert H. Staton “Best Brief” Scholarship, served as a Student Ambassador and Dean’s Tutorial Assistant for Legal Writing, was inducted into the Order of the Barristers for exemplary performance in the Moot Court competition, and completed judicial externships in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and at the Indiana Supreme Court.

  • Former law clerk for the Institute for Justice. Interned at Marion County Prosecutor’s Office in the Post-Conviction Relief Unit and at Indiana Office of Inspector General.

  • Graduated from Butler University with a degree in journalism. Former reporter for a daily newspaper in Fort Wayne. Earned awards from Indiana Associated Press Media Editors and Society of Professional Journalists.

Life Beyond PLG:

  • Contributor to Indiana State Bar Association publications. A member of Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indianapolis chapter of the Federalist Society.

  • Volunteer mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana.

  • Enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing basketball, reading, nature, music, trivia, travel, finding new restaurants and being an avid New York Yankees fan.
